Apple has unveiled the iPhone Air, a new ultra-thin model in the 2025 lineup. At 5.6 mm, it is the slimmest iPhone to date and sits alongside the iPhone 17, 17 Pro, and 17 Pro Max. Pre-orders start this Friday, with UAE retail availability on September 19.
The iPhone Air pairs a polished titanium frame with Ceramic Shield 2 on the front and Ceramic Shield on the back. It runs the A19 Pro chip and features a 6.5-inch Super Retina XDR display with ProMotion up to 120 Hz and peak outdoor brightness of 3000 nits.
The rear system is a 48 MP Fusion camera that enables an optical-quality 2x crop, while the new 18 MP Center Stage front camera can widen and reframe automatically. The phone is eSIM-only, supports Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6, and is rated IP68. Battery life is rated up to 27 hours of video playback, extendable with the optional MagSafe battery accessory.
